Mark Aluminium Die-Casting (MADC) will be demonstrating its wide-ranging capability in providing high-quality aluminium components for infrastructure and rolling stock at Railtex 2019. Taking place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK from the 14th to 16th May, visitors will have the chance to discuss applications with MADC representatives on Stand C41.

MADC is renowned for its high-quality castings for the automotive and electronics industries, which is why the business is now moving to meet increasing demand in the rail sector. Railtex is the UK’s leading exhibition regarding railway equipment, systems and services. The event will gather experts in the industry and over 400 exhibitors to display and discuss the latest innovations in the sector.

In terms of track side infrastructure, MADC has the capability to produce castings for signalling equipment, LED light cases, heat sinks, catenary supports, cable clamps and signage. There is plenty of scope for rolling stock too, with MADC able to provide high-quality interior parts such as seat arms, seat frames, supports, various carriage fittings and handles. Thanks to a track record supporting original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket with a large machine capacity, MADC can meet orders of almost any size promptly.

David Lewis, Plant Manager at MADC, said: “We’re looking forward to meeting with members of the industry and showing what we’re capable of. We can be entirely flexible to meet customer requirements, whether that is a run of a few hundred or a few hundred thousand castings, we can tailor our approach to support either OEM or maintenance repair operation (MRO) requirements within the rail industry while delivering castings at a truly competitive cost point.”

Mark Aluminium Die-Casting will be available on Stand C41 throughout Railtex 2019 from 14th-16th May at the NEC in Birmingham UK.
