We design, manufacture and tests water pumps and cooling pumps for OE, OES & aftermarket applications. In-house design, high-pressure aluminium die casting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and testing, plus a large stock facility are all located on one site.

Position: Machine Setter Operator – Die Cast
Department: Foundry
Reporting to: MWPL Production Manager
The successful applicant must be flexible and required to contribute towards the smooth running of the Site.
Duties will include:
In addition to the above roles and responsibilities other tasks will be allocated following discussions with successful applicants.
Applicants must have a broad based production and mechanical engineering background, (such as would be attained via a Craft Apprenticeship), or be working towards a relevant qualification. Experience of the Die casting process and it’s sub processes, all aspects from tooling through to casting processes. Fully understand the implications of Health and Safety and Environmental issues that relate to the Die cast area.
37 hours per week. (08:00-16:30hrs Monday to Thursday, 08:00-13:00hrs Friday)
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Salary dependent on experience

Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Department: Site
Reporting to: MWPL European Operations Manager
This role is extremely diverse and will require the candidate to be able to operate comfortably in a hands on and desk based role. The sector is mainly automotive and produces products for both Original Equipment and after market applications.
The position would suit someone with a minimum 8 years’ experience in an engineering role, and qualified as a minimum in a mechanically based HNC.
